I’m not exactly sure where my love of dressing up came from. I’m not a fan of the creepy and scary side of Halloween, but I love the dressing up part! Maybe partly being involved in musicals, dancing, and family fashion shows encouraged my love of costumes. I grew up hearing about when my mom and dad were dating they went to a costume party dressed Raggedy Ann and Andy (talk about a guy who’s smitten!)
Sometimes it can be a lot of work, but, it’s fun! I see it as a creative project and I love to create It's even something I’ve roped my family into through the years. They’ve been awesome to get involved. It's fun when we all discuss and vote and choose our theme!
